PHIL SINCLAIR - ‘FUNK DROID’

Over lockdown I wrote and produced a house record, ‘Funk Droid’, which was signed by Gottwood Festival’s record label “Gottwax'“.

It was featured on a highly acclaimed compilation among some very established names (in the underground house and techno scene).

You can buy it here if you’re feeling nice but it’s also available on all the major streaming sites. Proceeds from the compilation went towards helping the festival survive some difficult covid times.

Weird fun fact: the robotic vocal sample is from an interview with the world’s first AI humanoid. I didn’t clear the sample, but it’s only a matter of time before she becomes fully sentient and tracks me down for royalties.
