PS - ‘SLOPPY SPICE’

While working on an advertising campaign with the actual Spice Girls I was inspired to make a minimal techno remix of their iconic track ‘Wannabe’. We pressed 300 copies to vinyl and it sold out at Phonica Records three times over.

There’s loads I would change looking back, but it was good laugh and fun to put something out there. I also designed all the artwork and rubbed actual chilli powder into the stamp ink, so that when DJs handled it it made their eyes water.*

*That last bit about the chilli is a straight up lie. Cool story bro.
